Grand Opening Photos

The Blue Djinn Gallery (pronounced Blue Jin) opened in October of 2009. The owners,
Doc and Jen Snyder, created the gallery on the 2nd floor of their warehouse in the West
Bottoms. It features knotty pine paneling and contemporary track lighting, creating a
unique, warm atmosphere.

Doc Snyder attended the Kansas City Art Institute in the 1980’s and continues
to create art with a focus on screen printing and sculpture work.

Jen Snyder is an accomplished singer and is currently singing with Musica Sacra Chorus
and Orchestra. Together, Doc and Jen operate a commercial screen printing business and
a retail store,
Doc's Caboose, that sells model trains.
